Gold Circle
The Gold Circle honors media professionals who began their careers in television at least 50 years ago, either in a performing, creative, technical or administrative role within the industry or in an area related to television such as TV journalism education, advertising, promotion, and public relations.
Over the course of their 50-year career, they must also have made a significant contribution to the Mid-Atlantic Chapter.

Silver Circle
The Silver Circle honors media professionals who began their careers in television at least 25 years ago, either in a performing, creative, technical or administrative role within the industry or in an area related to television such as TV journalism education, advertising, promotion, and public relations.
Over the course of their 25-year career, they must also have made a significant contribution to the Central Great Lakes Chapter.

Do you know of a colleague, or former colleague, who has provided many years of distinguished service within the television industry?
The Silver Circle recognizes individuals who have made significant contributions to our industry for 25 years or more.
The Gold Circle recognizes those with a distinctive career of 50 years or more.
Who do you know should be honored this year?
Anchors, directors, photographers, editors, commercial producers and others who have served our chapter are eligible for induction.
Nomination Process
The application is a critical part of the nomination process.
The Gold & Silver Circle committee relies on the following information in evaluating candidates:
- Biographical description that includes career highlights
- Prior awards in the field, such as Regional Emmys®, Peabody, Murrow etc.
- Longevity and substance of involvement with the life of our chapter
- Mentorship of others and future professionals, especially in our chapter
- Service to the community and/or market
- Supporting letters
